HG Ez-SR Maxima new Gunpla Images

Some new images have popped up of the HG Build Fighters Ez-SR Maxima kit. I'm not quite into Build Fighters Gunpla, but this one does catch my attention a little bit. It definitely has the look of a U.C. test unit or some such, and I think would look great alongside some RX-79 (G) Gundams. Though like many newer mobile suit designs I think it looks like it's overcompensating a bit, it's still workable.

Top Ten MS that Need New Gunpla Kits

Been mulling this for awhile, but there’s so many cool mobile suits that go without ever getting a model kit, or at least a decently accessible one. So, here’s my list of the ten I want to see the most as Gunpla, or at least have updated kits.

10. TFA-2 ZuOOT

Gunpla

The ZuOOT didn’t do much in Gundam Seed, but it’s still a shame it wasn’t represented with a kit of some sort. Not even one of those little FG kits with no articulation? This thing's way cooler than the BuCUE or GoohN.

9. Moran

Gunpla

An unfortunately named MS from G no Reconguista, the Moran has an interesting design aesthetic like many of it’s contemporaries. It would have been nice if we could have had at least one of the Towasangan suits as a kit, especially since this one had lots of screen time and recolor potential with Rockpie’s Moran.

8. G-M1F (XM-0754) Bandit

Gunpla

One of many mobile suits from Turn A Gundam that lacks a decent model. The Bandit got a lot of screen time towards the end of the series, and generally speaking it’s a pretty interesting looking MS. I really wish they would make all of the major suits from Turn A, given how notable that series was.

7. RMS-009 Septem

Gunpla

Gundam X is one of the last Gundam series I’ve not finished watching, but that aside it’s easily apparent how underrepresented this series is in terms of Gunpla. The Septem’s look really hearkens back to the classic MS-09 Dom, but updated with the unique style from Gundam X.

6. Jahannam

Gunpla

While the Jahannam Space Type has two kits, the normal Jahannam has zero. The Jahannam and Jahannam Space Type look almost nothing alike too, so scratch or custom building one would be no easy task.

5. Recksnow

Gunpla
I'll be honest: the Recksnow is pretty dorky looking. On the other hand though, it doesn't really look like any other MS made before it, and it's exotic design fits perfectly into the Regild Century story line.

4. OZ-07AMS Aries

Gunpla

Gundam Wing was REALLY underrepresented in the Gunpla department. The Aries has a pair of costly resin kits that I know of, but no standard HG kit. There’s not even many toys of the Aries, the most notable one I can think of is the Robot Spirits figure.

3. Mazraster

Gunpla

I thought it was really strange the Mazraster didn’t get a kit when so many of the other G-IT Laboratory suits did. Kun Soon appeared a good bit in the final episodes too, so it was kind of a bummer it got left out.

2. JMA-0530 Wadom

Gunpla

The “Walking Dome” from Turn A Gundam. The Wadom was a gigantic Mobile Suit very similar to the Big Zam from Mobile Suit Gundam. This thing probably has one of the coolest designs from the entirety of Turn A Gundam. Simple, yet exotic in a way that makes it intimidating.

1. RMV-1 Guntank II

Gunpla

A classic MSV design that’s made small appearances in numerous Gundam titles, including Zeta Gundam! The Guntank II looks like more of a prototype to the original Guntank than a successor,  but that doesn’t make it any less cool. This is probably one of my favorite MSV designs and it just saddens me that it's never had a kit. Bandai! Read my list! Make a kit of this thing now!

HG Cartra's Graze Ritter 1/144 Gunpla Images

So here's some early images of the HG Carta's Graze Ritter from Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. The kit is set for release March 12th just under ¥1,300. It's an interesting variant of the Graze, and I like the head decoration, but it is a little on the generic side. Then again, I may be bias against the IBO Gunpla.

HGBF 1/144 Ez-SR Fox Hound 2 Gunpla Images

So we have another P-Bandai exclusive Gunpla, this time the HGBF Ez-SR Fox Hound 2. I'm not gonna lie, I really don't know much about this mobile suit, but it is pretty cool looking. I watched both Gundam Build Fighters series and don't remember it appearing... but maybe it's from some spin-off. Check it out.

More Dom Test Type Gunpla Images

A few more new images of the rather spiffy looking and recently released Dom Test Type from Gundam: The Origin. This one's been growing on me a lot and I'm rather interested in adding it to my gunpla collection. These pics go along way to selling me on in too, check it out:

New Gunpla Images via Hobby Japan

Some scans from a recent Hobby Japan release reveal some interesting new Gunpla kits coming out, including the mysteriously unnamed MS G from Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. It's a tad generic but not bad:

1/144 Iron Blooded Orphans

Also revealed was Gundam Astaroth, which looks surprisingly good to me compared to the other IBO Gundams:

A new Graze was shown too, along with the Kimaris Trooper. The Graze's getting a bit tired, but it does look good in teal:

You can check out the rest of the pics here, below are some gems like the HGUC Revive Gyan, a RG 00 Quan[T], and a few more pics of the Kimaris Trooper.

P-Bandai Exclusive HGUC Dra-C Gunpla Images and Info

A new HGUC Dra-C variant from Gundam 0083 will additionally be coming to the P-Bandai store. This kit is actually quite different from the standard HGUC Dra-C, featuring new thrusters, and a functional hand for holding standard weapons most notably. I think a lot was changed on this kit personally, almost a bit of a shame it's an exclusive. Check it out:

HGUC 1/144 Gerbera-Tetra(Roll-out Ver.) Gunpla Images and Info

Below is what I believe to be our first look at a P-Bandai exclusive HGUC Gerbera-Tetra (Roll-out Ver.). It's a pretty interesting looking kit, and a simple variation which works well as an exclusive Gunpla. Check out the images here or scroll on down to see a few of them mirrored:

1/100 Gundam Gusion Rebake Gunpla Images

Some more early images have cropped up of the 1/100 Gundam Gusion Rebake from Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans that's set the release in a few days. This is a pretty swell looking little kit, personally I'm more into 1/144 scale, but there's certainly an appreciable amount of detail attained here from the larger scale.
